Do you supply a Cetificate of Authenticy with Autographed items?
Yes, every item we sell that is autographed a certificate of authenticy is supplied. Some people assume that a certificate of authenticy is not worth the paper its wrote on but we disagree totally with that statement. This is normally stated to avoid any comebacks!! The certificate has the details regarding item and also whom/where it was purchased from - its a receipt and most often if you decide to sell some years after depending on reputation of seller it can increase value.

I've just started collecting autographs - can you offer any advice and guidance?
Yes, we can offer some advice that may help you. Firstly, autograph collecting and memorabilia should be fun and enjoyable. Enjoy your hobby ! Tips we would say may help always look for proof, facts, providence, supporting evidence and sellers history and feedback. Main issue really is authenticy - don't want to pay £200 for a signed item that is a worthless fake - look at other examples of autograph you are interested in and see which seller has given you total faith and confidence. Alot of sellers are now showing "Picture Proof" taking pictures at time of signing this is good also look at style of autograph look for stops/starts/shakes. There are alot of honest genuine sellers of autographs but unfortunately there are also rogue sellers of autographs. If a seller is advertising "Direct from Private Signing" then a picture/location/date should be supplied - if not WHY? Other sellers do. If an item has come from a private signing this is a controlled environment so signature will be nice and relaxed and sometimes celeb will add best wishes or add squad number etc We do collect alot in-person from training grounds, football matches, hotels etc and will ask for best wishes when we can not only looks great but increases value. Autographs when obtained before/during/after football matches celeb signature may be rushed depends on moment you collected autograph and whether celeb is relaxed and they are not being bombarded from all directions.
So really look for proof/actual signature/providence/sellers history/sellers feedback. I hope this may help you in your new hobby. Enjoy your hobby !
Are you a member of any autograph clubs or associations?
No, we used to members of several clubs inc UACC many years ago but we decided not to renew our membership as we believe that there was no benefits to joining any of the autograph clubs that are currently about. Far too much politics and not closely governed enough. We do not wish to speak out against any autograph club. When a autograph club arises that is independent, and not financially profiteering from membership fee's and regularly vets/monitors its members we may consider joining. Unfortunately, within the autograph industry this is highly unlikely to ever happen.
Where do you obtain your autographed items?
A majority 98% is obtained in-person by ourselves by collecting at training grounds, before and after football matches, from pitch side access at football matches, VIP access at football matches, booksignings, end of season dinners, charity events, anniversary dinners and luncheons, golf days, public signings at memorabilia fairs, private signings, hotels, airports, via player agents or via other players, other reputable in-person sellers we have known and trust for many years.
Can you prove your items are Authentic?
Yes, we can prove our items are Authentic you only have to look at the autograph. That tells you straight away. We also will take pictures when-ever we can of various celebs signing - which can be difficult at times. Sometimes its a question of either obtaining the autograph or taking a picture. We have placed alot of pictures of various celebs in our "Gallery of Proof" which you can access on left hand side on home page. The items that we purchase in third party which is only a small percent we know items are authentic by previously meeting the others sellers on our travels and that they are 100% honest and 100% reliable. You can spot a suspicious autograph straight away!!!!
Can you authenticate autographs?
Yes, we charge a fee of £40 per single autograph you will receive a report concerning the autograph in question. We will reveal details of why we believe the autograph to be authentic and will also consult with other experts in this field we have known. You can be rest assured our report will be accurate. Unfortunately, it is quite possible you may be given some bad news and we will explain why we have come to our conslusion. Please do not contact us with item/s that are on eBay or put us in a position of speaking against another dealer/memorabilia company. We do not wish to be placed in a legal situation.
Do you purchase autographs?
Unfortunately, due to increasing amount of rogue dealers and eBay there are alot of fake/forgeries about. So due to authenticy reasons we will NOT purchase any autographs.
Can you value autographs?
Yes, we charge a fee of £40 per single autograph you will receive a report concerning the autograph in question. We will require high resolutions scans of autograph in question and also some providence and history behind the autograph. You can use this report for insurance purposes and valuation purposes.
